Cliff Jumping

Marshall has been wanting to go cliff jumping since before summer even began, and we finally got to go. We went with Marshall's little brother Miles, and our beloved friends Matt and Megan. We go to this awesome part of the Ririe Reservoir that you have to hike down about a mile to get to, but it is completely worth it. The hike back up us definitely the worst part since its all up hill, but again still worth it. The view was amazing, the weather was pretty good and the water felt amazing. I wasn't as brave as Marshall and Matt were, but I still jumped off a little cliff. Marshall and Matt were the brave ones who jumped off the 35 foot cliff. I wasn't very good about taking pictures, but we will be definitely going again and I will take an abundance of pictures then hopefully.

We can also mark this off our Summer Fun List 2103! Woo Hoo!

Taco Night

It has been so long since Marshall and I have had proper taco night with our dear friends Matt and AshLynn. Matt recently moved to China, and this obviously has made it very difficult to have taco nights together. He came to visit this last week though and we got to have a taco night just like old times! First off, the Tacos were absolutely delicious and the night was completed with drinks from Horkleys, you tube videos, laughs, popsicles and stories about Matt's 5 year old Primary class. Matt and AshLynn are just the kind of friends that it doesn't matter how long it has been since you have talked or seen each other you instantly just start up exactly where you were last, and its like you were never apart. Here is to taco night and awesome friends.

Aunt Nancy and Uncle Marshall

My sister Betsy and her family came and visit us Idaho this weekend. It was so much fun to spend time with them. We went to the movies, had a fashion show, ate good food, and played till we couldn't play anymore. I love being an Aunt, and Marshall loves being an uncle. I don't think there are many titles or roles better than it!

 

a few of the highlights:

-tanner putting out the forest fire. it was a big one!

-having Ella sit on my lap for the entire movie. i felt so loved.

-listening to Soffie talk to her food. it is the cutest thing ever.

-making chocolate sundae dog piles on the trampoline. i was usually the ice cream.

-doing tricks with Kinsley on the trampoline. we both won trophies.

-tanner showing us his work out routine. he hammers his fist to work out:)

Riot Zone

We need to have Miles come and  visit more often, because we have done more fun things this weekend with him than we have a long time. Every time I go to Idaho Falls  or work I pass Riot Zone, and it always  looks so fun but that is as far as it goes. So, this weekend we took Miles and we went miniature golfing and go kart racing. It was an absolute blast, and the weather was almost perfect. With Miles going home tomorrow it was a good ending to an awesome long weekend. 

Bear World

Marshall and I have been wanting to go to Bear World for a while now, and so when Marshall's little brother, Miles, decided to come up and visit us for the weekend it was perfect timing. Plus it was on our Summer Fun 2012 bucket list, now we have one down and nine to go. Bear World is truly awesome! We saw deer,  elk(even an albino elk), buffalo, wolves, and tons of bears in the drive through portion. After driving through we went to the petting zoo area, and get to see bear cubs up close(pretty much the cutest things ever), pet deer, and see the fattest pig ever. Oh, what a great day!
