            A couple weekends ago Marshall and I went down to Salt Lake for the day just to get away, and go see the Christmas decorations and lights on Temple Square. It was a freezing day, but we made the most of it. We went on a  tour of the LDS Conference Center, and that building is amazing. Then we went and had some sushi at Marshall's favorite place(and he ate way more than he should have lol). Then we were of to the mall and did a little bit of shopping, but at this point are feet were killing us from walking everywhere so we went and sat in the Joseph Smith Memorial building for awhile. In the Joseph Smith building they had one of the biggest Christmas trees I had ever seen and it was beautiful. Lastly, it was finally dark enough to go and see all the lights. They were stunning and there was every color you could think off. All in all yes it was a quick trip, but completely worth it.
