Mason Jar Organizer

I know that there are already several tutorials of the mason jar organizer on pinterest, but I decided to go ahead and take a shot at it. This was a super fun and easy project. I love mason jars, they add so much character when decorating. I love how this project turned out, and I hope you all enjoy it too!

Here is what you will need:
-a piece of wood whatever length you want(we used left over 2x4)
-sand paper
-wood stain
-polyurethane
-old rag to apply stain
-brush to apply polyurethane
-pen or pencil to mark spots
-measuring tape
-jars
-hose clamps
-screw or nails
-hammer or drill
-picture hanging kit

Step 1: Sand off all the rough edges of wood so it is nice and smooth.

Step 2: Apply stain your wood and let completely dry.

Step 3: Apply polyurethane to your wood and let completely dry. This is going to keep your stain locked in and looking good.

Step 4: Screw or nail hose clamps to board. I measured out and marked where I was going to place all mine  prior to nailing in.
Step 5: Apply Picture hanging Kit to the back of your board.
Step 6: Tighten clamps around jars so that they are secure. Then hang on the wall and enjoy!
